Mardi Gras 2015.

I am convinced there's no other place like it on Earth. Mardi Gras. For those who have never been or have only experienced MG in other cities, I am here to tell you that it should be on your bucket list. As I look back on Mardi Gras 2015, I am exhausted. It was an incredible 10 days of parades, dancing in the streets (and on the neutral ground), good friends, great music, and one hell of a celebration. Enjoy the highlight below!

Celebrating the first full weekend of parades! Katie was an amazing host allowing us to use her house as a home base for several days!
Caleb and I loving our Nyx purses. Our friend Nicole rode in the parade and hooked us up!
I don't think I've celebrated a Mardi Gras yet (since college) without Katie!
When plans fell through to attend the Endymion Extravaganza, Caleb and I biked down to Canal and Bourbon and caught the parade there. My first time catching Endymion downtown and we had a blast!
Love this girl! My dancing partner in crime, especially on top of coolers!
Trouble.
The famous Bacchagator! His mouth is full of beads that parade goers toss at him when he rolls by.
Orpheus is by far the prettiest of the parades and I'm grateful the rain held out long enough for us to catch the entire parade Monday night.
Jackson Square. I loved spending Fat Tuesday down in the Quarter. Could become a new tradition for me!

I'm incredibly thankful that Mardi Gras 2016 is 51 weeks away. I need the rest! But it sure was one for the books. Until next year!
