Live your passion. In the last few years, my passion has become talking about core values. Identifying them. Committing to them. Talking the talk and then walking the talk. Living in congruence with my values. Navigating complexity in a grey world that doesn't allow values to show up as black or white, either/or. 

In my personal and professional life, I find myself using my values as my compass, my north star. When shit hits the fan or I'm trekking through the muck, I recenter, realign, and regroup by hunkering down and focusing on my core values. 

Responsibility. Inclusion. Community. Authenticity. Compassion. 

It was an honor to live my passion standing under a literal spotlight during orientation this year. The opportunity to emcee our big kickoff event and introduce our core values to our new students and welcome them into our community in such a meaningful way fed my soul! Fueled me. I was basking in my own glow. 

I would JUMP at an opportunity to emcee future events and even more so enthusiastically say YES to opportunities that grant me the space to fully embrace my own core values and SHOW UP. It was a special night indeed. I have no clue where my career will take me long term but I'm hopeful it always allows me to lead with my values.
