After a couple posts in October on everyone's favorite topic, loneliness, it felt important for me to blog about something in my life that I'm incredibly grateful for...my kickball fam. I started playing last fall and in my third season with Stonewall Sports NOLA, I can honestly say it's been one of the best decisions I've made in stepping out of my comfort zone, opening myself up to new experiences, and spending my Sundays with some of the most dynamic, passionate, and hilarious people I've come to know in NOLA.

Though we haven't been shining on the field this season (with a few exceptions), I wouldn't trade the Nancies. We're a spirited bunch who genuinely enjoy each other and I've come to cherish my time with them. Whether we're practicing, grabbing food or drinks, showing up for game day, or spending an evening making gumbo costumes, there's no shortage of love, laughter, and shade with this crew. Our season wraps in a couple weeks and I'm already looking forward to my fourth season in the spring.
