Loving Summer!

I worked a full day yesterday (well almost). Business as usual for a Tuesday. Except that I left work early to change and head to the pool party the summer RAs were hosting for summer residents. So I spent the next 3 hours laying out by the pool, grilling with the students, eating fresh watermelon, and catching up with some of my colleagues who came out to hang out. By the time we wrapped the pool party at 7pm, it felt like a weekend to me and I was excited to have a free night ahead of me. I went for a (pathetic) run, hung out with a friend and watched tv, and at 10pm, when a buddy called and asked if I were interested in going out for a couple drinks, I thought, why the heck not? It's Summer! So off we went to Scottish Arms for a couple pints to chill out. I got home around midnight and was ecstatic I was able to do some much on only a Tuesday.
