Weekend Review

Coming off LeaderShape, I was (slightly) nervous about re-acclimating into my everyday life and jam packed my weekend with as many people and activities as possible to prevent me from falling into the post-LeaderShape slump. Mission: Accomplished.

Highlights from the weekend?

• PRIDE Saturday with Shru and the WashU gang. Though PRIDE didn't have the same unknown mysticism that it had last year, I was happy to go and celebrate.

• Dinner Saturday night with the ACPA Standing Committee for LGBTA and a night out with an old friend from grad school. My first night "out" in a long time and we highly enjoyed ourselves.

• A lazy Sunday afternoon at Broadway Oyster Bar. With a bloody mary in hand and continued catch up with the friend in town, it was the perfect way to spend the hot as hades day.

• Dinner Sunday evening at FieldHouse with one of my favorite students, Mark. 

And now here we are at Monday again. Not sure what the work week has in store but I'm looking forward to getting settled back into the routine. Going to see Chicago at the Muny on Wednesday and hopefully grabbing dinner with one of my new coworkers later in the week.
