Hello June!

Welp. It's been a minute. A few minutes actually. I woke up this morning realizing June 15 is around the corner and that's both thrilling and scary. I've been spending almost every waking moment with this crew above, my Orientation leaders and family for the summer. They rock my world. Seriously. An incredibly smart, passionate, and talented group of student leaders who are dedicating the month to welcoming the class of 2017 into the TU family. And it's a good thing I like them a lot considering I see them more than I see anyone else including my own condo. 

When I haven't been working (which has been going really well by the way!), I've been trying to balance seeing friends and hitting the town with relaxing at home/sleeping and working out. But June has treated me well thus far. Cooking fish tacos with Caleb, continuing our weekly trivia at Dat Dog with the Red Feathers, enjoying Matt's visit to NOLA and catching up with Katie and Brian, seeing this beautiful girl (photo below!), and catching a movie later today with Amanda (The Internship).  

 

Though I've yet to hit a pool this summer and probably won't have time to until July, I'm not complaining. Life's been good and even though I've spent most of it at work, I'm grateful for a job I like a lot at an institution I value in a city I call home.
