GEAUX Weekend

It's been a great first weekend in November and I have a feeling it's setting the stage for one hell of a month! I cannot believe my brother is getting married in less than 2 weeks and I'll be home for close to 10 days celebrating the wedding and Thanksgiving with friends and family. CANNOT WAIT!

But we're not there yet...So how did this weekend go down?

Dinner at Latitude 26 in Dogtown Friday night with Brian and Jenny. I'd never been before and love trying new places. Overall, I'd give the tex-mex place an A- on food (it was pretty good) and a B on service. Initially our server was attentive, friendly, sarcastic, witty, and PRESENT but once the restaurant got a tad more crowded, we NEVER saw her. It took us close to 50 minutes to wrap up and get out of there. Yikes! But I'd return, just maybe not on a weekend night.

I woke up yesterday and donned my favorite suit and hat to coach my first intramural hockey team with several guys on it who are RAs and asked me to be their coach. They are calling me Coach BROmbay. But sadly, the other team didn't show and we won by forfeit. So outside of a trip to the gym and Schnucks, I spent the majority of yesterday on the couch catching up on the past week of TV shows.

Last night I met my cousin and his roommate who were both in town from Clarksville, TN at Bar Louie and caught the LSU victory over Bama. GEAUX TIGERS! It wasn't the most exciting game to watch but I enjoyed rooting for the Tigers with my cousin and catching up with him as I never see him. And amazing to see the Tigers keep their undefeated streak and beat Nick Saban.

And today? I'm off to St. Peters to visit a friend who just bought a house and moved out there. I'm not stoked about the 45 minute drive there and back (hello trips to Beau Chene) but I am looking forward to catching up with her and seeing the new place!

Hope it's been a wonderful weekend for you all! Happy Birthday Katie!

Cheers.
