Random Ramblings
I've been feeling a lack of blogging lately and at the same time, overwhelmed with the amount of things to potentially blog about! Dilemmas! I know that life is about to get real crazy for a hot minute with my brother's wedding this weekend so in an effort to not leave everyone too behind on life as I know it, here's the random ramblings...
1. J. Edgar. I saw it this past weekend on a whim with a friend not knowing much about it at all. And of course, it rocked my face off as one could only expect from a Clint Eastwood directed film starring Leo DiCaprio. And Armie Hamer (Social Network's Winklevoss twins) shined as J. Edgar's right-hand man, Clyde Tolson. Definitely recommend it. Willing to bet it gets nominated for some awards and makes it onto EW's "Must See" list before Oscar night. So just do it now.
2. I love my students. Not sure I say that enough but man, I love these guys. They are my second and sometimes third and fourth families and they keep me laughing, fighting, and going when I don't think I can go anymore. I'm in the right profession. It's good to have that affirmed!
3. The world of online dating has finally thrown me a bone. Looking forward to seeing if/where that bone goes (if anywhere).
4. This Greyhound is NOLA bound! I couldn't be more excited to head home Thursday for my dad's birthday, brother's wedding, and Thanksgiving. Look for the trending topic, #bestmanchronicles to pick up where I left off post Bachelor party! My sister arrived in town from Australia last night and word on the street is we're off to Rock N Bowl for my dad's birthday Thursday night. #Winning.
And with that good people, I wish you the best until I get a chance to return! It might be sooner or it might be later depending on where the road goes!
