April Showers Bring May TBD

After some unseasonably warm days, like 90s in late March/early April, we've dipped back into the 50s. Brrr. And then the rain came today. And boy did it come. Pounded us. Supposed to keep up this weekend too. Not the best for today's Cardinals' opener against the Cubs or the STL Go! Marathon on Sunday. But it does make for great napping or wrapping oneself up in a blanket to watch a movie on the couch. Both of which I plan to accomplish this weekend.

I have a few exciting things on tap for the weekend:

• Cooking dinner this evening and catching up with my friend, Shruti.
• Volunteering at the Marathon Expo tomorrow
• Date night with Brigid tomorrow night with Chinese and War Horse.
• Cheering on the marathon runners and a friend of mine Sunday morning.
• Dinner Sunday evening with my coworker Patrick and his parents, Louisiana natives.
  

Add in some work outs and knocking down my DVR list and I've got a weekend of goodness. At some point I should also add putting away my winter clothes and doing a cleaning/donation drive. Maybe next weekend when I'm on call...
