Hiatus.

Hard to believe it's been two weeks + since my last post. I blinked and October came and went and here it is already November 8. What is going on this semester? It could be the fact that I've been gone or will be gone 5-6 weekends between mid October and December 1 and have spent the weeks running around like a mad man trying to get all my work and school work done. Definite possibility.

So what's been going on? A whole heck of a lot since the weekend in Cullowhee, NC. First up, Halloween! We had a halloween party Friday night in Athens where I dressed as a guy from the 70s for a costume party at Christy and Sam's. The wig really made the costume actually. It was the talk of the night.

Saturday marked the beginning of PRIDE so the boys went down to Atlanta to celebrate Halloween night, attend the parade, and perform in the cabaret show in Piedmont Park. I wore scrubs and went as a doctor. It was an easy costume and while not as elaborate or as awe-inspiring as my Friday night get up, it was fun to do.

I took this weekend off to really focus on my studies and tackle some upcoming assignments as we approach the holidays, the end of the fall semester, and comprehensive exams.

I depart Thursday morning for what will hopefully be one of the best weekends of the fall semester. Jackie is getting married, team-U is reuniting (shout out to Will, Katie, LB, and Jackie), Danielle is flying into town from California and the WHODS are reuniting (shout out to Shells, Bets, Mosey, Danielle, and Melissa), Mason and Amanda are both coming into town, and I'll get some much needed quality time with Dan. And a chance to connect with Nelly and Laino. It'll be more friends packed into one weekend than I've ever seen before and I can.not.wait.for.it.to.begin.

I'll probably have lots to recap post Memphis and until then, it's work, work, work.
