Bathrooms, Boot camp, and Boredom?

I was talking to a friend last night about our period of transition we were currently experiencing. She has been employed for quite some time but doesn't begin her job back in Georgia until July 1. I, on the other hand, am still in the process of becoming employed though I hope to have all the details sorted out by the end of the week. So taking out the anxiety of having no idea where we'd be spending the next few years of our lives, we're trying to adjust to this period of having nothing to do.

I've been home now for circa 2.5 weeks and while one of those weeks had me flying here, there and yonder, I'm amazed that I've been able to get to this point without going coo-coo banana crazy. The first week was all about settling in and letting my body detox after finals, graduation, and moving. This week I'm filling my time with bathrooms and bootcamp!

As part of my summer duties at home, I'm renovating the upstairs. I began with the bathroom yesterday and painted both the walls and the vanity. I'm a little disappointed with the outcome of the walls. I selected a chocolate brown for the vanity (looks great!) and had selected a pear green color for the walls. It was masculine, not too dark to make the room feel even smaller, but not too bright to make you feel like you walked into sherbert land. Well after getting it up on the walls, I'm left dissatisfied. My dad called it lime and I wouldn't go that far but it looks like a mix between pea soup and green highlighter. So as I stare at it, I'm wondering whether I should repaint (not the biggest fan of that idea) or just try to find some accessories to neutralize it.

We're getting a new mirror installed up there today and once that's done, I'm gonna paint the ceiling and then go get the accessories. Pictures to come at the end...

I'm also filling up my time with boot camp. I went to the club last night for boot camp and I must say, my arse was handed to me. I am so sore today! But it was a great hour workout focusing on all parts of the body. It's a heavy core work out but there's plenty of leg work, abs, shoulders, chest, back, triceps, and biceps. It's every Tuesday/Thursday so I think I'm gonna keep going for the remainder of the month.

So all that to say I'm on the cusp of boredom but not there just yet. I'm trying to keep it at bay for as long as possible...

Cheers.
