I'm a star!

A few weeks ago (the date escapes me...), I went to the Science Museum's annual SciFest Gala. Tickets to this little shindig went for $100 a piece and included entrance into the Science Museum after hours, performances by musicians and scientists, and open bar and food. I got my ticket for free through the lady on the left in this photo, a coworker of mine. (I could swear I blogged about this event already but when you don't tag posts, you can't easily find them and well, that's what happens...)

Anyway, I didn't remember taking this photo or rather, having this photo taken of me in the new "Grossology" exhibit until I got an email last week asking for my name so it could be included in a future science museum publication. Apparently, the science museum staff LOVED the photo of Katie and I and said we looked, "gleeful." True story.

So what exactly were we doing at the time this photo was taken? We were playing with the fart machine that allows you to make various fart noises by pushing down on different pressure points. The sound of each fart was determined by the tightness of the sphincter of each tube representing different butts. (cute huh?) The one I kept pushing made this high shrill PING sound and I turned it into a little jingle causing Katie to erupt in laughter. And well, there you go...

Who knew farting could be so fun and lead to future stardom? I'm so mature...
