Fall TV Review.
A couple weeks ago, I blogged about the new fall season of television and how I'd be tuning in for 14 shows! All but two of those shows have returned/debuted (Private Practice and Suburgatory) which air this week. And due to my brain feeling like I'd watched too much television yesterday, I've still yet to see Pan Am. In any event, thought it would be worthwhile to check in on how I'm feeling about the fall season thus far...

CHEERS...
- to The Sing Off for returning with a high note. The trading of Pussycat doll, Nicole Scherzinger, for Sara Bareilles as a judge was a welcome addition to the show. You can have her X Factor. The groups last week were pretty incredible (like Delilah) and did not fail to entertain!
- to Revenge and Person of Interest for keeping my attention right off the bat and being two welcome new additions to my lineup. I love Emily VanCamp (Revenge) and think Jim Caviezel and Michael Emerson will be a great duo in Person of Interest. And who can't help but fall for a show in the Hamptons about taking revenge on those who tore apart your family and another set in NYC trying to prevent crimes before they happen.
- to Criminal Minds for reuniting my FAVORITES and bringing the BAU all back together!
- to the Good Wife for being so damn goood.
- to Up All Night for failing to live up to the hype and not being all that funny. I expected more from Christina, Will, and Maya. In fact, I find Maya Rudolph's character incredibly annoying. After two episodes, I'm giving it the boot. Adios.
- to Glee for a weak Season 3 premiere. Didn't love the music or the storyline. And frankly, I'm growing old of Sue trying to destroy the arts. New story lines?
- to Modern Family for a slow start to the 3rd season. The first half hour of the gang on a family vacation was stretching for laughs. But CHEERS to MF for the second half hour/second part of the premiere. Way to rebound!
