Wanted: Day of Rest
I need a massage. Or perhaps just a weekend from the weekend. This weekend (hey, how many times can I say that??) has been ridiculously crazy fun but my body is physically exhausted. How so?
Well, Friday night we went to Six Flags. I loved every minute of the rollercoaster mania with my CSAAmates. I think there should be a warning on a few of the coasters (or even the bumper cars) that you should brace yourself for your body to be contorted and thrown all over the place.
After getting home about 230am Saturday morning from the park, I dropped (nearly) dead before getting up to run 9 miles with Caleb. The half marathon is in less than a week and we needed to get in one last major run. I will probably take most of this week off sans a couple 5ks. So excited!
Last night we went to the 20th Boybutante Ball at 40 Watt Club and danced the night away. It was a crazy fun evening and definitely one of those nights you don't have too often but remember for months to come. I went all out and thus, am feeling like I've been hit with a truck this morning and wondering how long I'll feel beat up.
Looking forward to Sunday truly being a day of rest.
Cheers.
