SCHOOOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER (almost.)

Today marks my last day of classes as a first year master's candidate in the CSAA program at UGA. HELLS YEA! I am two finals (one isn't being graded) and two papers (one is 90% finished and the other is 85% finished) away from getting to put a big CHECK MARK in the box marked, "First year of graduate school." How bizarre!

It's a very different feeling from when I finished a year in undergrad. During my undergrad career, the end of a year marked a celebration and cheer jubilance (I just made that word up) at being finished. There was a completeness to it. With the end of this year, I feel this deep sense of accomplishment, pride, and competence at what I've learned, retained, and put into practice. No, I don't remember every thing we did this year but I surprise myself pretty regularly when I bust something out from first semester that I forgot I even knew!

I'll be 100% donezo next Tuesday night (on Cinco de Mayo, how fitting) and cannot wait to celebrate with the cohort!

Happy Hump Day. Cheers!
