change your mind...

I'm posting twice in one day. Normally I would frown upon such an action but after this morning's doom and gloom, it was needed. I used to be obsessed with Sister Hazel. Loved them. I own a lot of their CDs and they've been around for-ev-er so that's quite a lot of CDs. 

One of my favorite songs they sing is called Change Your Mind. The crux of the lyrics goes like this, "If you wanna be somebody else, change your mind." Well, I decided I needed to be a more positive person and not live in the land of gloom and sadness at saying farewell to my best friend, roommates, and Memphis earlier this A.M.

I'm now in Atlanta. After a full day of driving, I have arrived with relative ease. Stopped off in B'ham and had lunch with LJ. Great to see her and the new apartment. Got to J and Potter's new apartment and I gotta tell you, it's decked out. I think I may steal a few things while I'm here. I am playing a great game of dodge Miss Hamilton. That is J and Potter's cat. For those of you who didn't know, I don't do cats. I'm allergic as all hell to them. 

Making homemade pizza for dinner...mmmm...We were going to have a salad with banana peppers that Ash and J grew in their garden but someone stole them. What is this world coming to?? Off tomorrow to Athens to unload the Cube. More to come later. I'm off to buy tickets for Wicked so Potter will stop YELLING AT ME. Can anyone explain why Wicked tickets are so expensive? Or life in general? 

Since Potter just jumped on me that I never write about her in my blog, hopefully she'll be satisfied. Great-Miss Hamilton is back and playing a fun game of the swat the keyboard. Dumb cat.
