It's Arrested Development
I spent the majority of today finishing Season 2 of Arrested Development. The show centers around a dysfunctional American family and the "golden child," Jason Bateman, struggling to keep the family together. With an amazing cast including Portia di Rossi, Will Arnett, and Michael Cera, the show is hysterical and brilliant. My favorite two characters on the show are Tobias, a "never-nude" played by David Cross and Buster, "hey hermano...," played by Tony Hale. Check out a full picture of the cast to the left.I never watched this show while in production (maybe because it came on Fox and except for So You Think You Can Dance I forgot this channel existed). The show was cut into it's third season. Rumors have been circulating that a movie is in the works. That would be awesome.
My hope is to watch Season 3 over the next week and complete the series before I move to Georgia. If you haven't seen the show, consider putting it on Netflix. It's worth it.
Spent the day running around taking care of things for the move. I managed to look like an idiot at the U-Haul store where I spent a solid 10 minutes outside trying to figure out to how to fit the LARGE U-Haul boxes I just purchased into my car. Marc, the U-Haul guy, came out to explain that you can simply fold the boxes to get them into your car. Who knew?? Glad my education is being put to good use! Also bought a huge roll of bubble wrap which doubles as a nice punching bag, as long as you can resist the urge to POP POP POP the bubbles.
Most likely going to watch The Virgin Suicides tonight and eat the pot roast I crock-potted all day. I highly doubt "crock-potted" is a verb but I enjoy coining new words.
Hope everyone is staying indoors. It's bloody hot out there. Cheers.
