"Everyone will be famous for 15 minutes."
That line is a quote from Andy Warhol, an American artist best known for "pop art." We went to see an exhibit yesterday at the Brooks (not the Dixon) of his artwork. The picture on the right is definitely my favorite. He is probably most known for his Marilyn Monroe or Campbell's Soup series but I'm partial to the cow. Pretty cool exhibit though and if you're in the Memphis area, worth checking out. Admission is only $3 with a student ID and I'm sure if you check your washing machine and your couch, you can find that much lying around.Very excited about my purchase yesterday. I bought (happy dan?) an old antique trunk from the BIG Flea Market here in town. It looks really old (happier dan?) and I was able to buy it for $50. No hassling involved. The price tag said $85 but the guy said I could have it for $50. Sweet. It needs a little repair work but other than that, it's awesome.
Not much on tap for the day. Going to church this morning and then probably hitting the pool this afternoon. Stop Loss is my current Netflix video so I'll probably put that in this afternoon and maybe catch up on some more Season 2 of Arrested Development.
Enjoy your Sunday folks. Cheers.
