Travelin' Thru

My entry tonight reminds me of my good friend Mason, who incidentally has started his own blog. He's a big fan of the Dolly Parton song, "Travelin' Thru" that was featured in the movie Transamerica, starring Felicity Huffman. It's an amazing movie and the song was actually nominated for an academy award (though sadly, it did not win). In any event, the reason I haven't posted in the last week isn't because I haven't had the time, but more appropriately because I've had nothing to say. I told Dan yesterday on the phone that I feel like for the past couple weeks, I've simply been travelin' thru. Not much more to it. Classes have come and gone, projects have been undertaken and completed, meetings have been run and adjourned, and sadly, nothing new or exciting has happened.

So until something "news"worthy happens, I'll leave you with Dolly...
