Autumn.

Can you feel it in the air? The crisp, cool, refreshing, luxurious air that lets you know a seasonal change is upon us? Gone is the desire for sweat beads to quit running down your face as you walk to your car, the gasps you emit as you struggle to breathe, and the constant wonder if there is an end in sight. Autumn (my fancy way of saying Fall) is finally here!!!

"It's the most wonderful time of the year" may be a phrase most folks associate with the Christmas season but for me, it's all about fall. I am giddy with excitement waiting for the leaves to change color and for the beauty of nature to overwhelm me and stop me in my tracks. I'm thrilled to be shutting off the air conditioner, opening the windows and doors, and letting the outside in. And if all goes well, fingers crossed, I'll successfully avoid the usual allergic flair of seasonal changes.

I went for a run this afternoon (in the middle of the day no less) with Sam at the Botanical Gardens and it felt incredible to be outdoors and taking advantage of all autumn has to offer. I can only hope this weather stays around for the LSU vs. UGA game this weekend!

Cheers.
