"Doing the most."
Anyone who has been around me lately has noticed that I have been using the phrase "doing the most" A LOT. I'm not sure who coined "doing the UTmost" but I've started using that phrase as well. In a nutshell, the phrase is used to describe anyone who, well, is acting a little over the top and needs to dial it down a bit. While normally used in a negative manner, it can also be applied in some situations in a positive light.
The phrase can be applied in any number of social situations to describe...
1. Attire:
PeopleofWalmart is a perfect example. Although, most of these folks are doing the UTmost.
2. Those who don't know how to handle their alcohol consumption at the bar:
I could post some photos but that would be quite rude of me. But I bet you can all think of someone off the top of your head in no time flat.
3. Entertainers:
Kanye West at the VMA's in a bad way. Lady Gaga's performance of "Paparazzi" in a good way. Paula Abdul in a bad way. Ellen DeGeneres in a good way. The cast of Glee, verdict still out.
So give it a test run and see how you like it...Cheers.
