Home.

After living in a cluster for the last few days packing, cleaning, and moving my life into a storage unit and my car, I was excited to come home and settle into 109 Hollywood for the duration of what I've dubbed: Operation Employment (OE). But it turns out that life on Hollywood is just as clustery as life in the ATH. Mom and Dad are renovating. Brand spanking new guest bathroom, a wine closet in the wall, new closet doors and bathroom fixtures upstairs, and a complete makeover of the two upstairs bedrooms and bathroom that Mom has put me in charge of doing starting now.

So needless to say, things are a bit...hectic. Not to mention my brother just moved home last night with Milly, his dog, for the summer. He's doing a construction management internship in the city and finishing up his degree with two night classes up in BR. He'll be incredibly busy...

So with all of his stuff, my stuff, the reno, the dog, and my parents, Hollywood is anything BUT calm. Things won't be as peaceful as I had hoped but hopefully, they won't be as boring either. I leave Friday for a wedding in Austin and next week, I have two on campus interviews lined up in Missouri and Virginia. So by the time all the travel is said and done, June 1 will be staring me in the face and I'll be ready to begin the extreme makeover upstairs.

Cheers.
