2 Snow Days.
With the university closed yesterday and today, I took advantage of some down time to do a little work, do a little me time, do a little work, do a little me time, etc...
Despite having to get some work done, I've enjoyed being able to move at my own pace. Here's a recap of the last couple days...
Tuesday
Weather: ICY! Snow falling on and off throughout the day/night but nothing major.
Activities: Worked from 930a-2p, watched Going the Distance (Grade: C+ Netflix (lower if I had seen it in theatres)), Tamales dinner with friends and a handful of my favorite students followed by drinks with friends.
Wednesday
Weather: Snow continued to fall throughout the day but not much accumulation beyond a few inches. COLD!
Activities: Worked from home for a few hours, went to Cafe Ventana for lunch with Brian and Jenny, worked out, and am looking forward to cooking dinner and catching up on TV tonight
All in all, not a bad couple days! I'm hoping the snow days doesn't lay the groundwork for a Thursday and Friday that are SLAMMED with work. Guess we'll see!
