400.

400. No, it's not a sequel to the acclaimed action flick, 300. But it is my 400th post since the blog began back in July of 2008. Four-freakin-hundred posts. Kinda amazing if you think about it. At least for me.

I don't have big plans for the weekend. In fact, 5pm rolled around yesterday and I had not a thing on the docket for the weekend. That in and of itself would normally send me into a spiral of anxiety and stress regarding my inability to spend an entire weekend without social interaction but I figured things would pop up and I should just go with it. I ended up having a great night last night going to a Vietnamese restaurant called Pho Grand in South Grand with a coworker and enjoyed a calamari, pineapple, and tomato dish. It was the first time I can recall having calamari without it being fried but it was delicious! After dinner we ventured down to Lafayette Square with another coworker to Square One which brews its own stuff. I don't think I've been there since I went the night before I interviewed on campus but it's a great place and worth visiting more often.

I awoke today with plans to go grocery shopping to buy ingredients to make some homemade granola (my friend sent me a recipe I cannot wait to try) and visit the mall to look for a new watch and a couple pairs of dress slacks but the weather had other plans. It's snowing. again. And not just a dusting but legit, all cylinders a go, snow. It doesn't seem to be icing over but I don't feel like driving out to the mall or the grocery when I don't HAVE to. So perhaps today will be a day in doing laundry, watching movies, and catching up on some reading.

For now, some coffee and an egg sandwich are calling my name.

Happy Saturday! And happy 400th post!

I'm glad you've done 400! Here's to 400 more!

(It's sort of weird, right - but I've probably read all 400 of these posts.)
