hanging on.

It's my theme for the week. Hanging on. There once was a time when I looked forward to being on the other side and hosting candidates for interview weekend. I love recruiting, I love meeting new folks, and I love promoting a program that is ranked 6th in the nation. So as interview weekends began to approach, I was STOKED.

And then it rained. and rained. and rained. Interview weekends have now become something of a burden and something to work around rather than something to be excited about. I'm still looking forward to meeting the candidates but I'm stretched to capacity. 95 Dawg Camp Interviews over the next four days. A Research Methods annotated bib and lit review due next Wednesday. A big ? over my summer internship experience while I sit back and watch my classmates have interview after interview for summer positions. And I am hosting two candidates over the next two weekends who will both be here Saturday afternoon through Monday night. Things are definitely crazy (as evident by my lack of posting) and I'm not quite sure when things will let up. My hope is the near future.

We. shall. see.

In other news, I joined Twitter a few days ago. Not quite sure how I feel about it just yet. I'll keep you posted.
