13 Love Stories.
Perhaps this post would have been better suited a couple weeks ago in honor of Valentine's Day. But it's still February (barely!) so I don't feel too out of line by focusing this post on love. 13 Love Stories is quite literally, 13 stories about the lives of individuals within the LGBT community impacted by Proposition 8 and other legislative laws that discriminate against equality for all individuals.
Feel free to check out 1, 2, or all 13 of them when you have some time. Sure, watching a video won't lead to change but it can lead to awareness. And awareness, my friends, is the first step.
I'm supposed to be running the AIDS Athens 5k tomorrow morning but at the rate this rain is going, could be a pretty gross run. I'll probably still get up and do it as long as it isn't POURING. But I wouldn't put it past this weather to do just that.
