Busy week!

This week has flown by, but then again, it has been jam-packed.

DAWG CAMP...it doesn't come in a jar!
Three of our Dawg Camp special programs began this week. Classic City and Fusion kicked off on Tuesday and Adventure began yesterday. Though I don't have much (if any) hands-on responsibilities with the special programs, I am excited that they are kicking off this week and hope the first year students participating in our programs have an amazing time.

Life at my internship is moving full speed ahead whether I want it to or not. Today marks the end of my 6th week here and it's so strange knowing I'll be wrapping up my internship in another 4 weeks. Where does all the time go???

The highlight of my week thus far (aside from the Shot in the Dark coffee drink from Cool Beans) was last night's viewing of TRANSFORMERS: Revenge of the Fallen. The movie, at a little over 2.5 hours long, was everything I expected and hoped it would be and more. Kat did a really great run down of the film on her movie blog so rather than repeat, I'll attach the link here. I would give it a higher rating than she did but it's all a matter of what you are looking for in the film. Regardless of the ratings, Transformers was the first sequel I've seen in a long time that I felt was as good as the original and held its own. I sat on the edge of my seat the entire movie and at several points, had to remind myself to breathe! All in all, it's definitely a film worth viewing on the big screen and if you enjoyed the first one, I'd recommend you checking it out this weekend.

I'm looking forward to the weekend with a trip to Atlanta to see J and Potter planned and an opportunity to check out the Artist's Market at AthFest tomorrow evening. Perhaps I'll find some cool Athens decor to put in the new apartment.

Cheers.
