New digs.

I have an appointment at 915am tomorrow morning to pick up the keys to my new apartment at Beechwood Pines. I'll post photos once I actually move in (which won't be for good for about another month). I'm looking forward to moving into an apt complex inside a gated community, with a great pool, and in a fantastic location (walking distance to Kroger, Jittery Joe's, my gym, a movie theatre, and several other stores and restaurants).

For most people, the desire to leave behind an apartment and move into a house is a dream come true. For me, I'm going in the reverse. I've lived in a house for the last six years and am looking forward to apartment living. Aside from the community, I'm looking forward to lower bills and to feeling a little bit safer than I have in the previous houses in both Memphis and here in Athens.

So even though I'll be living on Arch for about another month, tomorrow feels like the start of a new adventure with Kevin in the HD (that's for you Caleb) and I'm eager to seeing what lies ahead.
