A new semester. A new chapter.

With the passing of each semester in graduate school, I find myself reflecting on all I've accomplished in such a short time frame and think, "Holy Shitake! The next semester can't be as busy as this one. It's not possible." Yet with the beginning of each new semester, CSAA once again proves why it's ranked 3rd in the nation. This. program. does. not. stop. Or let up. Or go easy on you.

I'm taking three courses this semester: Assessment, Law, and Administration. Each will prove beneficial to me as I continue my professional development, education, and prepare to re-enter the field of Student Affairs. Each will require a lot of time-intensive group projects but I'm jazzed to dive right in. I guess that's a benefit of doing something in grad school you enjoy.

Outside of class, I'm filling my days working as spring semester in the CLS is always the UT-MOST. The amount of applications, applicants, trainings, and programs we are involved with can be incredibly overwhelming but I'm excited for the rush!

And finally, the job search is on. To date, I've only applied for one Orientation position but hope to return from Seattle and submit a couple more job applications. One in Orientation and one in Admissions.

For now, it's time to kick back, relax, and enjoy the MLK weekend and my long-awaited trip to Seattle to visit with Kari. I cannot wait to get there!

Cheers.
