Procrastination.

I was procrastinating today in the office and decided to check out what was new with blogspot. They have a new "gadget" you can add to your page allowing people to become followers of your blog. I thought "stalker" was a more appropriate term to use with all the facebook stalking people talk about these days. I figured, hey, why not a blog stalker.

I haven't decided if I'll keep the term or even the gadget as a whole. I guess I'll wait and see if anyone becomes a follower. Didn't read long enough to find out if you can only be a follower if you have a blogspot yourself or a gmail account. So let me know. Keep me posted. Become a stalker.

Heading to a Historic Preservation Committee meeting within the hour held by the Athens-Clarke County Commission. I wish I could pretend to be excited about this adventure but I can't muster the energy. I have to observe the group dynamics for a class and write a reflection paper on the experience. I only pray my reflection paper is more stimulating than the meeting. I'll try and remember to snag an agenda and post the topics. I envision topics such as, "To cut or not to cut? Save the tree in downtown Athens!" or "Is purple exterior paint allowed in the historic neighborhood?" There will be some gems I'm sure.

Today marked day 2 in a row of my get-up-at-6am-hit-the-gym-shower-go-to-school new regimen and I'm looking forward to seeing how long it lasts. I really enjoyed going yesterday morning and running with the Today Show to keep my interest and inform me of life outside the UGA bubble. I didn't enjoy this morning's lift. So I'll keep you posted on that front as well.

There's several other things I'd like to ramble about in this issue but I'm becoming more aware of the number of family members other than my immediate family who read my blog so detailing my cousin's wedding itinerary next week or my conversation with my great aunt today may not be posts for the community at large.

I think I just censored myself...So long First Amendment.

Cheers!
