While sitting here trying to find motivation to write a two page reflection paper on the cohesion of my group after cooking dinner together last night, I decided blogging would be more enjoyable. And less painful.
Struggling today. Woke up with a sore throat and feeling its effects throughout the day. Class was great this morning listening to everyone's songs (see post below) and I ended up doing quite well with mine. There was some debate in class as to whether my song was about developing competency or purpose but at the end of the day, I did a solid job with it.
Went and picked up my car after class today. While the initial walk around inspection looked ok, I've noticed a thing or two including my back speakers which appear to be busted after trying to listen to music. They are blown out. So I am taking the car back tomorrow for Toyota to look into it along with an exterior paint job issue I'm not thrilled about. One piece of the car is definitely not the same color as the rest of the car. Not ok with that.
Looking forward to the long weekend but I have about 1000 pages of reading to tackle so the library may be calling my name. The life of a grad student...
