Mother Knows Best

"We are Flintstones kids, 10 million strong, and growing..." I remember the Flintstones vitamins commercials so vividly from my youth and even remember taking them pretty regular. We used to keep them in a kitchen cabinet above the microwave next to the peaches, bananas, and applesauce baby food that I used to eat WAY past my toddler years (but that's a whole 'nother conversation. But don't knock it if you never tried it. That stuff was mmmmmm.)

Anyway...I was talking to my mom last night about feeling sick (my MO) and she asked me if I was taking vitamins. I'm not. She instructed me that it is time I start taking them on a daily basis. So my question is this: What vitamin(s) should I be taking? There are so many out there and I really don't know what I should be focusing on. I'm not interested in having a drawer full of vitamins and taking several different ones so I need to focus on an All-in-One vitamin that does the trick. If you take vitamins yourself or have a loved one who raves about a particular vitamin, let me know. It's time I heed my mother's advice and start popping pills.

Cheers!

jonathan takes one from the vitamin shoppe called "especially for men." that seems fitting, right? i buy a generic-brand multivitamin from walmart ("women's daily") - and it works great. take them with food if they make you feel naus. cool.

I would be wary of taking Jackie's advice. One time, she was taking a vitamin that made her feel really nauseated. She wasn't sure if it was the vitamin or if she was just sick. So she found the obvious solution: give it to Katie without telling her the dilemma and see if it made her sick too. It did.
