We are family...

I just finished watching the season premiere of Brothers & Sisters. Out of the entire premiere week, I was most excited for tonight's episode and after watching it, am glad for its return. I cannot get enough of that show and if you're not watching it, you're missing out on some great television.

After spending the weekend with family in Myrtle Beach and watching family dynamics unravel on tonight's episode (yes, I know it's not real...), my thoughts are scattered. I'm going to take a few moments here and state that despite the dysfunctionality (yes, I just created a word) that is my family, I wouldn't trade them for the world. We're all crazy but we're family! I had a great weekend visiting with my mom's extended family and though I didn't get to spend enough quality time with each of them individually, I enjoyed being in their presence.

I'm excited for the week ahead including going to Memphis next weekend for Homecoming. It'll be good to go back. Have a great week. Cheers.
