Perfect Saturday
With the weather registering between 65 and 75 degrees today, there was no better way to enjoy the cooler temperatures than kayaking on the Broad River. Caleb, Kari, Steve, and I set out around noon today and drove to Danielsville, GA about 30 minutes north of Athens. We rented kayaks from Broad River Outpost and spent about three hours navigating down the River. It was amazing. If only every Saturday could be as good. Reminded me of going white water rafting with my dad and family and we made a pact today to go this spring. Can't wait!
Off to hit up the grocery store with Caleb to pick up some essentials for dinner tonight. Watching the UGA vs. Arizona State game tonight at Christy's with a bunch of folks from the cohort and making dinner. Looking forward to it. Go DAWGS....
(I'll also be rooting for the LSU Tigers tonight as they hopefully lay a smack down on Auburn.)
