The boys are back in town...

So last night was "guys night out." It wasn't quite the night I expected. We started at Your Pie, which as Caleb describes it, is like a Subway for Pizza. You either tell them what kind of pizza you want from their list or make your own from scratch with any toppings, sauce, and bread you like. It was actually quite tasty and not too expensive at all, complete with a $1 PBR can. Does it get more classy? It does not.

But dinner felt awkward and forced. I went with Caleb, Kevin, and Jase and though I enjoy all of the men in our cohort, the dynamic was off and I wasn't having as great a time as I had hoped. We went to the Globe after for some beers and I must say that the Globe is becoming my favorite bar in Athens. It's very similar to Celtic without the crowded, dark and dreary feel to it. I love the hardwood floors, the exposed brick walls, and even the rocking chairs by the window. It's just a cool place to be.

Cloud met us at Globe and I really enjoyed getting to spend time with him outside of class. We definitely had a good time but when I left, still felt like the night had been a hodge podge of forced awkwardness. I am hoping that will change over time but beginning to wonder if it will.

Going to work on my Theories paper today and try and knock that out. Hard to believe we have like 20 days of class left in the semester. Where the heck did it all go??? I'm almost 25% done with graduate school. I still have 3 papers, a poster presentation, and 3 finals to get through so I'm not throwing in the towel just yet.

Kari and I are going for a run on some trails this afternoon that I hear are absolutely gorgeous. Caleb has run them a few times and my aunt Linda who was in town this weekend ran them yesterday and said it just doesn't get much better. So I'm looking forward to that.

Enjoy the November Sunday. Cheers!
