What's wrong with the world...

If you spend too much time dwelling on the tragedy in the world, it can turn any optimist into a pessimist in no time flat. Just this week I was shocked to read about the triple murders of Jennifer Hudson's family and also the brutal beating and killing of Anne Pressly, a 2004 Rhodes graduate who was the victim of a break-in and robbery in her Little Rock Home. She was a news anchor for KATV in Little Rock and the coverage of her attack and death has hit every major news network. I didn't know Anne but recognize her picture and when you saw the same 1500 students every day on campus, you felt connected to the faces of people you may have never spoken to.
