Home Sweet Memphis.

Homecoming 2008 is this weekend and I couldn't be more excited about going "home." I am staying at 1916 (my former residence) with Will and Laine and I can't wait to see the renovations that Will has made to the house. I'm curious to know why he waited to renovate until after I moved out when I spent three years living with him EAGER for some changes to be made but such is life I guess.

I am driving to Atlanta today to spend the evening with Ash and J. We fly out tomorrow evening and arrive in Memphis around 630pm. Not sure what is on tap for the weekend but I am definitely looking forward to seeing the crew, the bop, the old roomies, hitting up Beale Street, and visiting my two most favorite places in the city: Bogie's and Cafe Eclectic.

With my excitement at returning to Memphis, I feel good about leaving knowing I have a community here in Athens that I will be looking forward to return to (minus the midterm on Monday for Foundations...). I am definitely anxious to get awya from school for a few days and relax and reconnect with my college friends. Should be one great weekend.

It's good to go home...
