The Last Hoorah

We were charged in class today with creating our own business, developing a purpose and goal for the business, establishing roles, and deciding how we would handle conflict. No, this was not about building a profitable business. It was more about group dynamics.

The name of the business our group came up with is The Last Hoorah. Slightly modeled after the Make-A-Wish Foundation, ours would be a for-profit business helping individuals live out their lives to the fullest in the face of death. In order words, we would make the Bucket Lists of individuals come true. I somewhat stole the idea from the movie, The Bucket List, but hey, it was a class project, not real life.

In any event, thinking about the project made me think about the types of things I would include on my bucket list one day. Or rather (in a more optimistic light), what are some of the things I hope to do so they never have to make it to a bucket list.

My top five:
1. Visit Australia
2. Visit Italy
3. Complete a triathlon
4. Own a home
5. Have a family

Note: Skydiving is not included among the list as I have already crossed that one off. And I'm still here to tell about it...

Cheers!

A triathlon! I didn't know you wanted to do that! Well, if you want to do one of those partner races, you know you can always count on me for the swimming portion. They do give you kickboards, right?
