back to school, back to school...

...to prove to dad that i'm not a fool...I remember using this line from Billy Madison back when I was a Peer Assistant at Rhodes in the fall of 2002. That was my first real experience with Orientation and since I'm returning to school tomorrow to pursue a degree in the field of Higher Ed because of that 1st Orientation experience and many more after, it's fitting how things come full circle.

First class tomorrow: Foundations of College Student Affairs. I'm slightly nervous. Class meets tomorrow afternoon from 130pm-430pm. It will be my first 3 hour class. Eek. Tomorrow will also be the first time I attempt to navigate the bus system at UGA as I take a bus from my parking deck to work and then from work to class. Should be a good day.

Yesterday was very low-key. Other than hitting the gym, lazy would be the best way to define me. I did watch American Mall, an MTV movie from the executive producers of HSM starring Neil Haskell from SYTYCD. The movie walked a fine line between amazing and terrible but it's the type of movie Will and I would watch and critique the whole time. I did find myself enjoying the music though.

Spoke with Dan yesterday and he said the roomies are considering coming to Atlanta for Labor Day Weekend. That would rock my face. It would be great to see them. Dan is picking up Pyro, his mini that he specially ordered on Monday, and it would be great to see the car as well.

Not much on tap for the day. Going to mass here in a few minutes and may be seeing Mama Mia this afternoon with Jason. I need to enjoy my last free day because starting tomorrow, it'll be one hot mess.

Cheers.
