vacation all I really wanted
Is it a bad sign if after the first day of graduate school and work, you contemplate how long before your next vacation? I told myself I would not get stressed out in graduate school. I lied to myself.
My first real introduction to the CLS began with a two-hour staff meeting this morning. We did play this name game where I realized I don't know too much about my given name. Maybe I'll do a post on the origin of "Bradley" and "Stephen" in the near future. Many events coming up in the near future and I think my plate is going to be uber full before I know it.
Had my first graduate school course this afternoon, Foundations of College Student Affairs. I did not think I'd be using markers in graduate school but this is higher ed and of course, we did use markers today to make a poster about who we are and what's important to us in life. Now for those of you sitting there shaking your head thinking my class may be a joke, think again. Not excited about the upcoming research paper. Nope.
Off to the gym after an exciting game of Kill the Wasp in the house. It's a great game and one children of all ages should enjoy, especially when the wasp is flying around like mad crazy. Might get a jump on the reading for class and then going to prepare myself for my two 3-hour classes tomorrow.
Congratulations Mr. Tyler on becoming a new uncle! Hooray for little Audrey. Welcome Audrey into this world and into the Foster family. Cheers!
