what a difference a week makes!

Hello Sunday morning. One week ago today, I went to Mama's Boy with J and had a pit in my stomach the entire time at breakfast. It was day 2 and boy, was I a "hot mess" (as E my roommate likes to say) of emotions. This Sunday I am feeling more settled and though still missing Memphis, learning to adapt to the land of Athens.

I had a GREAT Saturday. J, Ash, and Carson came to Athens for the day. Luckily, Jase was gracious to come let us use his pool at the Lodge. It's huge with a waterfall, volleyball net, basketball hoop, and a floating beer pong table all in the water. It's probably good I don't live at the Lodge. Chances are I'd never get anything done.

Last night we went to dinner at Copper Creek Brewery (which I'm not recommending) and then met up with Matt and some of my cohort at Allgood. It was fun to be out and get to know people a little bit better.

Pretty tired today. Got home late and woke up a few times this morning to some interesting phone calls from Memphis. Went to 5 Star Day this morning for brunch. Mmmm. I had the blueberry oatmeal pancakes. Talk about scrumptious. Checked out mass this morning and heading to ATL this afternoon with Christy to pick up Sam (both cohort members) from the airport. Should be a good day.

Orientation officially begins tomorrow so my days of freedom are over. They were great while they lasted. Time to get back into the swing of things.

Take it easy. Cheers.
