wife beater.
While at Wal-Mart on saturday shopping for my tourist season costume for the party, I stumbled upon some sleeveless t-shirts. Officially known as "A-shirts," (short for athletic shirts), they are more commonly referred to as wife beaters. I have always wondered why the term "wife beater" became an appropriate slang term for them. I doubt there's any research out there that proves that men who beat their wives tend to wear sleeveless t-shirts.
So anyway, I stumbled upon some and they looked comfortable. I ended up wearing one under my amazing tourist button down shirt I found and (I hate to say it) I enjoyed it. So here I am after a long day from class, work, and the gym, lying on the couch in scrub pants and a wife beater. And I'm ok with that.
Don't hate.
On a sidebar: just saw a preview that Greek is returning on Tuesday night at 9/8c. Can't wait.
